GEARS
1) Pinion and Gear
To transmit power in linear rotation.
2) Rack and Pinion
To transmit power in linear for reciprocation.
3)Worm gear
To transmit power in perpendicular rotation. This gears were used for speed reduction and non reversible.
4) Bevel gear
This mechanism is used to transmit power in perpendicular.
5) Epicyclic gear train
This is also called as Sun and planet gear. Used in automatic gear transmission.
6) Differential gear unit
